Lourdes Hospital is located in Cochin, the major city of the southern Indian state of Kerala.    It is 2 km from the heart of the city with direct road from Marine Drive at Pachalam, and a secondary seafront road reaching the hospital via the ancient Mount Carmel (Chathiath) church. Due to its uniquely placed position only 2 km from the High court of Kerala, it is accessible from both the city and the suburbs. Approach from Kaloor is to be avoided in      view of a railway crossing en route, however, direct access is possible from Kacheripady and High court junction without any significant roadblocks
